The Game Is About To Change!

Clan XP and Clan Perks

With the new Clash of Clans update, clan wars will finally become a better investment for clans to aspire to.  Soon the old ways of recruiting good players will become more difficult.  With the added benefits of Clan Perks, good players will be drawn in by higher clan levels rather than just trophies or war wins.  This is unfortunately going to split the gap between strong and weak clans.  So the race has begun to level 10 to gain clan perks such as more war loot, faster request times, higher level troop donations, and elixir refunds.  

     The new clan challenge is this: Get our clan to level 5!  With level 5, donated lvl 5 troops will be lvl 6, lvl 6 donated troops will be lvl 7. Nice, huh?  This is going to be one of our biggest clan challenges yet because of the amount of teamwork that will be involved.  As with all of our clan challenges, I am always understanding when people need to step back for "Life Situations", so don't feel obligated to run 100% with this the whole time.  With this challenge, I have several tiers, or sub challenges that will coincide with this one.  This will help us as a clan become better players and a better team.  Together we have done some amazing things with TheEyez, and will continue to do so.  In approaching this challenge, we will do so just as we do for looting gold/elixir. Here is my plan of attack...

Sub Challenges

• Back to back wars with as many members as we can.  I understand there are a few in our clan that would prefer smaller wars such as 10-20.  I will try to accommodate that as well as I can.  (I also understand needing a break from elixir drains)
• Go for the stars.  Winning at clan wars always boosts morale of the clan.  In this challenge, I want us to focus on getting the most XP we can.  Just as when we loot, our focus is on gold and elixir rather than trophies, so our race focus should be on XP without discouragement from a few losses.  In the long run the added loot for clan wars will be worth it.
• Defensive base layouts.  I want us to start critically looking at base designs that are tough to 2 or 3 star.  A solid defense will also make winning wars easier.
• Keep the clan active.  The clan chat is the life force of the clan.  It is what brings us together and keeps us strong as a group.  If nothing else, just let us know you are still breathing. :)
